A Fishing Report of A Memorable Day

That was a bright and shiny day and this fishing report is about the days adventure. And this made me and all my fishing buddies up for a fishing outing. We were all set and motivated to see what brutes we could pull from the depths. We went out on a local shipwreck and we carried along some soft plastic jigging. The day was going to be truly fruitful and we understood it when our decky hooked up a really solid fish. We thought that would be a snapper. And it took us almost 15 minutes of struggle and finally get the fish, and guess what? It was not a snapper but was a huge 10kg golden trevally.

That made us very happy and we hunted for few more Goldies and within next 40 minutes we bagged 4 more solid fishes. We then headed out wider to one of the local island to try for some spanish mackeral. With two lures in tow, we worked the current lines that peeled off the island. On our second pass both rod simultaneosly loaded up and it was on again. We had gone through many fishing reports telling similar stories about the area.

After the first blistering run and the sheer fact that we had a double hookup – we were sure that 2 big macks had grabbed our lines. However after some times of hard deep dives and unstoppable runs we changed our tune. And we knew these were Big GTs. This one was terribly big and we tumbled for about 30 minutes to catch that. It weighed in at a hefty 32kg. After few times more, the second one hit the surface and went 29 kgs. Some truly awesome sport fishing and probably 2 of the biggest fish that all of us would ever likely to catch. Later on in the day we tried our luck for a few snapper but only managed one smallish fish of about 2.5kg. Another awesome day to remember.

Australia Fishing Report: Respectful Results

 

This Australia fishing report is about a fishing adventure that I’ve experienced after a long gap. After being idle for quite a long time I’ve decided to go out and catch some wealth. Actually, on my last trip my spinning rod was broken which took me out of the mood for fishing for some time. But as we all know, difficulties makes you stronger and more stubborn, it is even true in my case always.

That was a Tuesday and I woke up quite late, at 8:30 AM. I was restless to go out and hold my rod and catch some fishes and that will moved me to the river. The morning sun bright and shiny and I was enjoying my sunbath. Buy that time I dint experienced any strikes whatsoever. I’ve been fishing in this area for long and my experiences told me that fishes of this area come to the shore when the sun is a little warmer. Fish love the heat of the warm surface water of the river. After few time, I got my first strike when the sun was perfectly warm. Within an hour I landed upon my first two perches of the day. At around 11:00 AM in the morning, I had a strike from a big sized pike. And I was more than happy as I knew this is something to envy about. The thing was over 50cm this year. And it certainly brought back the smile on my face as after coming out for a long break, I got venerating outcomes.

But this Australia Fishing Report is not all about this only. As we all know, a little success make us more eager to ask for more. Te fish made me more enthusiastic. My keenness helped me to have some fun. After that I have caught six more perches. Am not flaunting, but I really want to tell you all that  one of them was a personal record for me – 26cm. 7 perches were released to their natural habitat. I was enjoying myself at the fullest and had fun fishing with popper of 6 strikes. For me these are certainly respectful results from this small river and it had helped me to rediscover the zeal of fishing within me.

Fishing Reports: One Of My Most Unusual Experiences

Among other fishing reports, this one is really special to me, as it is about one of the most interesting & memorable fishing trips that I’ve enjoyed. It was somewhere in July of 2005. Me and my friends were on a trip to the Northwest Wisconsin that time. We’ve decided we will hunt for Musky. The skies were clear and the temperature was just perfect of 80 degrees F and winds were also calm.

We started the day a bit early and quickly enough I got two really hard hits on my hook. After some time my cast was slammed by something and I was pretty sure that it must be a fish of my lifetime. I was struggling and my friends also came out to help. But All of a sudden the rod got EXPLODED into multiple pieces. That made me extremely frustrated as I was left with a broken fishing pole and a lost huge catch. But somewhere I was hoping that this will turn out to be something really exciting and I’ll be adding this one on my fishing reports.

But I was not disheartened, nor was the day over. I changed the rods and believe me… within 10 minutes I was hit again! This one was not going to get away, so I again set the hook like ten angry men and once again my rod was now using exploded into two pieces. But this time I acted clever and fortunately I had already buried the hooks into the massive mouth of that monster. My friends kept reeling and the fish got to the side of the boat. Now the next problem was to get it into the net and pull her on the boat. As we all know it’s hard to tackle a moderate fish in to into its comfortable space – water. And this one was a real monster. This one was a monster at its true sense and we all had a quite a tough time to make it ours.

We’ve decided to take some photographs of the giant and let it go and we’ve doe the same. So finally we all were left with two broken fishing poles and a successful catch and release of a fish of a lifetime. I am feeling really great to share this as one of my best fishing reports.
